After finishing dental school, Dr. La attended his post-graduate residency program and received his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate at UPenn School of Dental Medicine. He enjoys sharing his implant specialty knowledge with fellow doctors as a mentor in study clubs and implant training courses. For the past several years, he has been lecturing nationally on all phases of implant dentistry, both surgery and restoration, basic and advanced.
Dr. La is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and now serves as a mentor for Associate Fellow Candidates. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). The ABOI/ID Diplomate designation symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Certification by the ABOI/ID attests to the fact that a dentist has demonstrated knowledge, ability, and proficiency in implant dentistry through a rigorous examination process.
